Food Shoot with Amy Pilz of Twin Treats
Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 11:39AM A culinary graduate, Amy is based in Oceanside, California offering catering services and cooking classes. Amy's food is impossible to resist. I can attest to this as I recently had the privilege of photographing some of her desserts for a catering event that was hosted by her. I had a hard time not sneaking cookies when no one was around. That's not an official confession by the way.
I'm normally not very fond of chocolate desserts because they tend to be a little too rich for my taste but those of Amy's had such a nice flavor and texture. I definitely over did it that day. My wife Jackie, who doesn't eat sweets at all, had a similar reaction to Amy's Fresh Fruit Tart which Jackie now claims is her favorite dessert.
