The Stars at Joshua Tree National Park

Here's a couple of images from one of my favorite places...Joshua Tree National Park. One of the most fascinating things about this park is the lack of ambient light at night, despite its close proximity to Los Angeles and Palm Springs, which makes for great star photography. Even on a night with a full moon, as in this first image, the stars are super clear. These images are from separate visits, one of them just a few days prior to boarding a plane for our new home here in London.
