Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California

This 1,090 foot, built of reinforced concrete, pier in San Diego, California offers photographers a beautiful pattern to photograph. This pier is located between La Jolla Shores and Blacks Beach next to Scripps Institute who owns it. This image was a 10 minute exposure that almost makes the ocean waves look like glass. A color version of this image is in my upcoming 2012 Calendar which should arrive any day now. Look out for the calendar launch in the next week.
