Well...I'm back! After a long move to London I'm finally unpacked and settled into our new home. Before moving from San Diego, I made a few last minute trips around the southwest U.S. to
photograph a few last bucket list locations. I'll be posting lots of photos from these trips in the coming days. One of these spots was Yosemite National Park. Although my stay there was very
short (one night) I made the most of it capturing some lunar rainbows of Yosemite Falls, which I posted a few months back, along with a few other amazing sights like, most notably, Half Dome.
One of the
great things about spending time in Yosemite Valley is that there are
so many amazing sights to be seen from standing in one place and just turning yourself around 360 degrees. After a wet winter and spring, there seemed to be waterfalls everywhere pouring off of
nearly every corner of the valley. In the flooded meadows were families of deer, ducks, and other wildlife seemingly unbothered by heaps of tourist attention.
While I was waiting for sunset, I walked to Sentinel Bridge and captured these two images.
